There's such a great deal of things to do at Elkhorn including swimming, whitewater   paddling, hiking, and fishing, so possibly you want to stay for a while. Summertime at Elkhorn arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Elkhorn dip into the 10's.
