far and near. A number of folks camp here for the purpose of being close to Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park. There is a brilliant hiking trail next to Big Timber Koa Kampground called the Black Butte Trail; if you yearn for a little side tour, try Fyfe Coulee. At Big
Timber Koa Kampground you don’t see much rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder River, and the great folks of Big Timber like to hang out nearby. This campground has everything.
Golf can be played at Overland Golf Course; Natural Bridge State Park is worth a visit. Big Timber Koa Kampground is very popular with residents of Big Timber. This camp ground is one of the delightful places to camp here in the Crazy Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the
70's to Big Timber Koa Kampground. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows at Big Timber Koa Kampground during the winter ordinarily dip into the 10's.
