Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park, Missouri

| | We are located at Exit 170 on Interstate 70 on the north outer road (Hwy TT). Our campground sits on 40 acres and we currently have 74 sites. We have 50 and 30 amp sites with full hook-ups, as well as electric and water only. We are undergoing a renovation and will be clearing an area for more tent sites in the next month. We have a fishing pond that is stocked with bass, crappie, catfish and bluegill. We have a catch and release policy, but if the fish is big enough and you make arrangements with us you may be able to keep a few. You do not need a liscense |

to fish as this is private property. We have a large pool with a large shallow area perfect for small children. We also have a playground for the children and will soon have the sand delivered for the volley ball area. Our park is family oriented and we offer a tent pavillion for
| groups of family reunions. A pavillion will be under construction soon and ready for next season. We have several open fields that are groomed regularly and great for softball games and flying kites.
We are located one mile from Graham Cave State Park. They have wildlife demonstrations from time to time and have some interesting walking and biking paths. The city of Hermann is about 19 miles from our location. The little city is very picturesque and is the home of many wineries and breweries and Octoberfest is celebrated here.

Halloween celebration annually here at Kan-Do. Every year is different. We have a pot-luck with the main course provided by the campground owners, served by a bonfire. Entertainment in the past has included Kareoke, pet costume contests, pumpkin carving contests and hayrides.

Lots 1 and 34.
We have a 40 ft 5th wheel tri axle using 50 amp service with full hookups.
Lot 1 was cement and very level. We agreed to change lots when another camper came in that was staying for 4 years and for whom this
lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.
Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.
The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They
plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.
It is very dog friendly which is important to us.
The wi-fi works
well and has an excellent signal.
The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were
there, so I didn't use the pool.
We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities while there, though they do have them.
We would definitely stay there again and in fact do plan to stay there when going through the area in April, 2010.

The great people of Montgomery City like to hang out close by; the scenery at Werges Lake Dam is delightful. This campground has so much. From a rainfall point of view Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park is a rather typical location; May is when you get the most rain here, and January
is when it's the driest. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Shore Crest Lake near Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park, and sites like Graham Cave State Park are splendid to stop at.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park, and all through summer
nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park.
