| | Wow. What a difference from the lat time we stayed here. The new owners go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They have done a lot of sprucing up of the park and have a lot of plans in the works. We had a great time here. Says Betty R.
Interstate Campground is a very well loved campground by people from Higginsville. So much amusing stuff right next door to Interstate Campground; it's always fun to be here. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Interstate Campground get into the 80's. When |
the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Interstate Campground.
This is a great campground. Higginsville Country Club is a splendid golf course nearby, and
| not far from Interstate Campground you get some pleasant water scenery at Gash Dam.
Don't leave Interstate Campground without visiting Knob Noster State Park; during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Higginsville for sure.
Interstate Campground is a good place of common precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. A good site like Van Meter State Park near Interstate Campground is too delightful to leave out; Bears Grove is a forest that you can | |

Missouri is a great outdoors state. The kind staff and all the fine passtime activities have a lot of folks coming here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Lafayette F 24 Lake.
