We had a wonderful time at the 1st Annual Frog Hollow Folk Music Festival! Music! Music! and more Music! Some of the best folk music artists I've ever heard, from Memphis , to Knoxville, Mississippi and Lousianna. Food! Food! Food! Chicken on a Stick, Polish Sausage, and good ole Mississippi Fried Catfish. I ate it all! mmmmmmmm Gooooooood! Doorprizes!!! Lots of goodies from coupons, magnetic hematite jewelry to top-of-the-line B-B-Q grills. For two days prizes were awarded to anyone that visited the festival! This event is for families, no alcohol allowed. Camp at the grounds or just visit for a day. You can't   go wrong with this fun-filled event. What could be a better way to spend Labor Day weekend than eating, music, and prizes! I'll certainly be back this year and I'm bringing friends. Better make your reservations early. Says Charlotte Maxwell All the water falling down from the sky makes Frog Hollow Campground a wet place; most of the rain falls all through March, and August is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer months, highs usually are in the 90's at Frog Hollow Campground, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, regularly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Frog Hollow Campground overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
