Mississippi is a perfect place for campers. During the summer here at Buccaneer State Park, high temperatures typically reach the 90's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, ordinarily
| in the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 60's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Buccaneer State Park plunge into the 30's.
This campground is always a pleasure. The smiling people of Waveland like to hang out close by, and of course Grand Bayou flows through this vicinity. If you're here at Buccaneer State Park, do take a visit to Point Clear, and on a good day you can go to Mud Bayou, a swamp right next door to Buccaneer State Park.

Buccaneer State Park mostly gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the
one that rains the most while October is ordinarily the driest month. Buccaneer State Park is not the only place close by, Sprotsmens Lakes is a close by lake, and Buccaneer State Park is a glorious spot.
