Tettegouche State Park is a wonderful place to take a look at on a beautiful day, and hiking is a popular thing to do around North Country Campgrounds; Crooked Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail. Don't leave North Country Campgrounds       without first going for a hike along the Old Pines Trail. There's glorious hiking along the Powwoun Trail. Through the summertime months, highs generally are in the 70's at North Country Campgrounds, and through the night it cools   down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at North Country Campgrounds temperatures drop to the-10's. North Country Campgrounds is a good site of normal precipitation.
