Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River, and Wild Mountain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff.
For you golfers we recommend nearby Chisago Lakes Golf Course, and if you haven’t been to Mississippi National River
& Recreation Area, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here. A campground like this is too wonderful to miss. Don't leave Hillcrest RV Park without stopping by Interstate State Park, and don't leave Hillcrest RV Park without first going for a hike along the Sunrise
Ferry Hiking Trail.
This campground is so wonderful. William O'Brien State Park is worth going to if you're at Hillcrest RV Park, and needless to say, all our national parks are tremendous places to stop at and Saint Croix National Scenic River is no exception.
Hillcrest RV Park gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is February.
