Golden Eagle Campground, Minnesota   Golden Eagle Lodge is a year round family resort located half way up (27 miles) the Gunflint Trail in Northern Minnesota next to the BWCA. We are the only resident and resort on Flour Lake so privacy and seclusion is unmatched anywhere on the Trail. We surrounded by the 3 million acres of the Superior National Forest. Golden Eagle Campground is close to Lake Carlos State Park which is a charming location. Lakes? Sure, Big Pine Lake is in the neighborhood. At Golden Eagle Campground through the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's; night lows at Golden Eagle Campground during the winter typically dip into the-10's. A campground like this is too good to miss. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Perham Lakeside Golf Club is around here, and this is a popular spot for people from Perham. Golden Eagle Campground is pretty dried up generally; most of the rain falls through June, and February on the other hand is the driest.
