Not much rainfall falls here at Deer Lake; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. Coming to this campground is always a tremendous idea. Everybody close by loves skiing at Buena Vista, and Lake Bemidji State Park is a brilliant place. Deer Lake is a campground that is enormously prized by folks of Cass Lake.     Among the things you can do next to Deer Lake are hiking, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do. Greenwood Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby; the Tower Lake Hunter Walker Trails offers hiking at its best. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do close to Deer Lake, and campgrounds like these are nice. This campground is so picturesque. There are fine locations to explore along the Star Island Trail System; enjoy a round of golf at Sandtrap Golf Course. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Lake; Carter Lake Trail is a fine local trail; Stony Point is very near and is a delightful location to stop by. During the warm months at Deer Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at Deer   Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. While you're here at Deer Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Cass Lake, and don't leave Deer Lake without first going for a hike along the Meadow Lake Trail System. The staff that runs this campground and the fantastically admirably controlled facilities are reason enough to come here. Swede Hill is clearly visible from Deer Lake, and places like Chippewa National Forest are great to pop by. The nice variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Deer Lake rocks! Fox Creek is a good place to visit, and great hiking is available along the Webster Lake Trail System.
