A trip to Chippewa National Forest when you're here at Chippewa Loop is a pleasant idea; the skiing at Buena Vista is good. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and head out on the road; Chippewa Loop in Minnesota is exactly the site. Fox Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here; do take a hike on the Star Island Trail System. Going to Lake Bemidji State Park next to Chippewa Loop is a nice thing to do; going for a hike along the Webster Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
