If by chance you solely hold very little know-how in paddling, this segment of Kettle River could be a delightful paddling segment. Always check circumstances in advance of a trip paddling because paddling is a risky endeavor. Places like Banning State Park are good to take  
    a look at, and a wooded area close by is Fond du Lac State Forest. Moose Lake Golf Club is a great golf course close by, and if you're visiting from Cromwell, you won't be the only one. This campground has so many fun things to offer.
  If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because 29 Pines Golf Course is in the neighborhood. Moose Lake State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit; enjoy a round of golf at Willowbrook Golf Course. The amount of rainfall that falls at Birch Bay Campgrounds is close to the national average. Most of the rain falls through June while February is commonly the driest month.
