| | Whispering Surf Campground, the oldest campground in Michigan (1913) is a rustic camp with access to our private beach on Bass Lake (a 500 foot walkway) and an eight minute walk to Lake Michigan where Bass Lake empties into it.
The campground has 75 sites with approximately 40 occupied by seasonal campers, 8 tent sites and the rest full hookup with water, sewer, 30/50 amp and 75 channel cable TV. Modern rest rooms with hot showers are in our lodge which is central to the camp.
