Timberline Campground, Michigan Custom Search   This clean quiet wooded campground has been our destination for 7 years now. We use it as a pivot point for fishing, road trips, canoeing, gambling, antiqueing, and just laying back and enjoying the campground facilites. Beautiful Lake Michigan, a few miles away, is a big draw for us also. I feel that this campground has alowed us with our modest income to enjoy the best of life. Says Susan Moore An interesting thing to stop at close to Timberline     Campground is Homestead Dam, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Onkeonwe Beach. An afternoon playing golf at Pinecroft Golf Course is always a pleasure; Timberline Campground is not the only site close by, Beulah-Benzonia Sewage Disposal Ponds is a close by lake. Nothing beats kicking back at Beulah Beach, and there are plenty of people from Benzonia here. At this campground you will always have a good time. When you're here at Timberline Campground it's always fun to explore Orchard Beach State Park; a day on the slopes of Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa is just what you need. The amount of rain that falls at Timberline Campground is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's   just no way somebody can get bored here at Timberline Campground. Golf can be played at Crystal Lake Golf Club, and Interlochen State Park is a brilliant spot to stretch your legs a bit. Summertime highs at Timberline Campground frequently tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Timberline Campground. This campground is so good. Some of the water close by flows, like Rice Creek; visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
