If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's fishing, swimming, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Any time is a magnificent time at Timberland Campground if you have a thing about the outdoors. Huron River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you're   a golfer then a great nearby course is Lakelands Golf and Country Club. Pinckney State Recreation Area is both fine and delightful, and it's near Timberland Campground, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Timber Trace Golf Club. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Timberland Campground. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while Timberland Campground night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
