Head up to Bittersweet and strap some skis to your feet, and Yankee Springs State Recreation Area is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. Near Parkside Park you hit upon a golf course called Yankee Springs Golf Course; places like Fort Custer State Recreation Area are tremendous to visit. Outdoors folks generally adore this segment of Michigan. There are so many enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Parkside Park, and you always have a good time when you're here.
