| | I spend most of my summer weekends at ostc and its a great area for any kind of orv use. They have modern showers, toilets, and electrical and water hookup on each site! then theres the motocross track (theres three of varying difficulties, mini, intermediate,and the big track) which is well groomed, as well as the private trail system on 175 acres. This is a nice campground. The Sterling Truck Trail is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Ogemaw Sport and Trail Center; a nice site like Huron National Forest is too great to leave out. Near Ogemaw Sport and Trail Center you stumble on the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail
| which is a great hiking trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Apple Valley Golf Course. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back time and again.
On a fine day at Ogemaw Sport and Trail Center you can take a hike along the Lame Duck Truck Trail, and lots of folks from Rose City come here. Throughout the summer months at Ogemaw Sport and Trail Center temperatures are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
