If the weather is perfect here at Loomis Landing, you can go for a hike along the Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail. This campground is a tremendous spot to pop by. Going for a hike along the McKenzie Ski Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and you're sure to run into some nice folks from Wellston here. Hiking along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail is magnificent fun, and Caberfae Peaks is a magnificent local ski area. Near Loomis Landing you find the North Country National Scenic Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and you don’t have to go far from Loomis Landing to observe the water at Stronach Dam. Everybody loves Orchard Beach State Park, and the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Some of the things you can do here at Loomis Landing are swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and fishing, so you won’t get bored.
