This campground has so much. Getting to Cedar Run from Leelanau Pines is uncomplicated; King's Challenge Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. You have to get out, and Leelanau Pines is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in Michigan. Some people camp here so they can go to Interlochen State Park. Everybody loves Traverse City State Park; if you have the time, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore     is a national park worth stopping at. Among the things you can do right next door to Leelanau Pines are fishing, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. The amount of rainfall that falls at Leelanau Pines is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through September; the driest of the months is February. The tremendous folks who operate this place and a brilliant variety of entertaining stuff have people coming here. The splendid local attractions and the splendid variety of outdoors recreation are glorious motives to come. With so much to do in Michigan you'll never get bored.
