Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a campground that is       extremely esteemed by the people in Marquette. There's so much to do next to Gitche Gumee Campground and RV, and being here is always fun. There's such a large number of things to do at Gitche Gumee Campground and RV including   whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Michigan is a good location for campers. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to go camping, and Gitche Gumee Campground and RV, Michigan is a good location for getting out. The 4 good ski lifts take skiers up the 600-foot vertical drop at the close by ski resort Marquette. Marquette gets an average of 18 feet of snow per season on its 25 runs. The       green and blue runs account for 65% of the runs at Marquette; no wonder this ski resort is such a good site. The red and black runs make up 35% of the 151 acres of skiing area at Marquette. Carp River has a nearby whitewater segment;   the CR553 to Highway 41 segment is a nice 2.3-mile-in-distance category II-III segment of whitewater. The CR553 to Highway 41 segment of Carp River is suggested for whitewater paddlers of medium practice. Naturally, whitewater rafting or kayaking is cool but treacherous; check the situation in advance of a trip.
