It's very bad for you to be inside all the time; you need to get out sometimes, and Croton Township Campground in Michigan is exactly what you need. Croton Township Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among visitors from Newaygo. The helpful operators of the campground and the enormously satisfactorily run facilities will make you feel pleasant. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Croton Township Campground, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Croton Township Campground are in the 0's. If you are in Michigan through camping season, you have to go camping. Some people choose Croton Township Campground when going to Newaygo State Park. This campground is so great. Hardy Dam   is a lovely location right next door to Croton Township Campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Cannonsburg is quite near. You absolutely have to check out Newaygo State Park while you're here at Croton Township Campground, and don't forget to take a nice little spree to Little Muskegon River. From a precipitation point of view Croton Township Campground is a rather common spot; the wettest month of the year is generally September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. You'll meet a lot of people from Newaygo here; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail.
