Here at Camp Kinawind you can catch a glimpse of Chandler Hills, and a brilliant place like Petoskey State Park is too brilliant to leave out. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Camp Kinawind; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February     is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Camp Kinawind, you could also go to beautiful Lake Thumb; Sturgeon River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. Throughout the warm days of summer at Camp Kinawind temperatures are typically in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Camp Kinawind plunge into the 10's. Camp Kinawind beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. Camp Kinawind is a location with many visitors from Boyne Falls; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear River.
