The Pines, Massachusetts   Loads of people camp here in order to be in the vicinity of Willard Brook State Forest. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore The Pines. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, playing golf, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. During the summer months here at The Pines, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures     at The Pines sink into the 10's. The Pines is an old favorite with the people of Ashby. Get your sleeping bag packed and get your wheels rolling; The Pines in Massachusetts is a pleasant pick. This is such a perfect campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Country Road, and Willard Brook State Forest is a tremendous place to explore. Here at The Pines you'll in all probability meet some folks from Ashby, and there's tremendous hiking along the Mitchell Hill Road. The great variety of local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will absolutely have you coming back repeatedly. Get drenched paddling on Souhegan River, and Leominster State Forest is a magnificent place. The Pines is a reasonably wet place usually with a great deal of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain   while September is generally the driest month. A visit to Massachusetts is not complete without some camping. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The view of beautiful Juniper Hill near The Pines is great, and Wachusett Mountain is a fine local ski area. For you golfers we recommend close by Townsend Ridge Country Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Souhegan River. Trapfall Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and the Wapack Trail offers hiking at its best. This campground is so perfect. Glide down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak; have a look at nearby Ash Swamp. Willard Brook State Forest is a good local forest, and if you get bored of The Pines you could also pop by close by Damon Pond. The staff that operates this campground and loads of enjoyable stuff to do are reason enough to come here.
