Wahconah Falls State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit, and Eames Hill is pretty and can be observed from here. All through the summertime highs here at Summit Hill Campground reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Summit Hill Campground are in the 10's. If you come at the right time of year, Westfield River - West Branch offers some good whitewater, and charming scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Otis Ridge.
