Sodom Mountain Campground, Massachusetts Custom Search   Sodom Mountain is a family oriented campground that offers mountain hiking, family activities, pool, gameroom, mini golf and much more. Our campsites range from basic tenting to 50 amp large pullthrough sites. On site is laundry, lp gas,store, bathrooms with showers and discount tickets available to local attractions. We are the closest campground located to the Springfield area. Close by attractions include Six Flags New England, Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield muesums and the Big E (Eastern States Exposition Fair). Sodom Mountain     Campground is close to Congamond Lakes North Dike which is a stunning location positively worth stopping at; get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Westfield River. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Metacomet Trail; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Pearl Brook. During the warm days of summer at Sodom Mountain Campground temperatures are generally in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Sodom Mountain Campground plunge into the 0's. This campground is so nice. A journey to Robinson State Park when you're here at Sodom Mountain Campground is a delightful idea, and hiking along the Spring Trail is good fun. All the outdoors fun stuff near Sodom Mountain Campground   will keep you coming back persistently. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Shaker Farms Country Club is close by; going to Hampton Ponds State Park is a perfect thing to do. Sodom Mountain Campground typically gets a large amount of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A campground like this is too nice to miss. While you're here at Sodom Mountain Campground you will meet lots of people from close by Southwick, and do take a hike on the Richard Trail. Blandford is a great local ski area, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Link Trail. Babbs Beach is close to Sodom Mountain Campground and is a scenic beach to stop by, and Sodom Mountain Campground is right by the County Road Trail. Poverty Plains is a striking place any time of year, and enjoy a round of golf at Edgewood Golf Course. The top of Southwick Hill is easily observed from Sodom Mountain Campground; Southwick Country Club is a great golf course close by. This is a nice campground. There are some good whitewater spots on Little River. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Sodom Mountain Campground rocks!
