Hit the slopes at Berkshire East in the neighborhood, and the Thunderbolt Ski Trail offers hiking at its best. Shady Pines Campground is esteemed by the people from Savoy. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do close to Shady   Pines Campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cheshire Harbor Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Shady Pines Campground is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest of the months is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chickley River. Lakes are great; Hallockville Pond is a lake that's near Shady Pines Campground. Massachusetts has loads of outdoors activities. This campground is so splendid. The top of Rowe Lot Hill is easily observed from Shady Pines Campground, and do take a hike on the Overlook Trail. Summertime highs at Shady Pines Campground generally tend to be in the 70's, and the night is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Shady Pines Campground fall into the 10's.
