Get covered with water paddling on Natchaug River, and Bigelow Hollow State Park is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River, and when you're here it's always fun to pop by Streeter Point Recreation Area. a bliss. A good sight of pretty Janes Hill is available from Quinebaug Cove Campground, and not far from Quinebaug Cove Campground you get some good water scenery at East Brimfield Dam.
During the warm days of summer here at Quinebaug Cove Campground, high temperatures usually
reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Quinebaug Cove Campground. Yeah, come here to Quinebaug Cove Campground for a nice time. Swamps are interesting
places and Single Swamp right next door to Quinebaug Cove Campground is no exception; some nearby water includes Lombards Brook. This is such a fun place for a campground. Quinebaug Cove Campground is not the only place close by, East Brimfield Lake is a close by lake, and if you
have the time, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth visiting.
Paddling on Quaboag River is so much fun, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Pine Ridge is relatively near. While you're here at Quinebaug Cove Campground you
can play some golf at Scottish Meadow Golf Club, and you're sure to encounter some smiling people from Fiskdale here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Quinebaug Cove Campground a wet spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
