Campground is a pretty wet place commonly with a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. There is so much entertaining stuff near Prospect Mountain Campground; you always have a great time when you're here.
Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Westfield River, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Metacomet Trail. At Cooley Lake Dam in close proximity to Prospect Mountain Campground there are some interesting things to see; Little River is a pleasant
whitewater spot nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Chester-Blandford State Forest is a good location to go to; since you're here, you might as well explore Sullivan Hollow. If you come to this campground, you will have
a wonderful time for sure. A quick journey to Trumble Brook near Prospect Mountain Campground is a wonderful idea, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Shaughnessy Swamp is right nearby. Stratton Brook State Park is a great place, and you can hit the slopes at Blandford nearby.
