A trip to Northport Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Callahan State Park, and there's whitewater on Assabet River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.   A glorious location like Cochituate State Park next to Northport Campground is too delightful to leave out, and Faulkner Hill is a peak you can make out from Northport Campground. In Massachusetts you never run out of outdoors amusing things. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
