Laurel Ridge Camping Area, Massachusetts   Laurel Ridge is a family campground located in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. Paddling on Westfield River - West Branch is so much fun; the top of Dug Hill is easily distinguished     from Laurel Ridge Camping Area. There's such a vast number of things to do at Laurel Ridge Camping Area including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. Get covered with water paddling on Walker Brook, and you can go for a hike on the Richard Trail. There's such a large number of things to do right next door to Laurel Ridge Camping Area, and when you have had the opportunity to enjoy this campground you will feel like a different person. A lot of people stay here when going to Chester-Blandford State Forest. Laurel Ridge Camping Area gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is when it's the driest. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Laurel Ridge Camping Area. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Laurel Ridge Camping Area drop into the 10's.
