Roaring Point Campground, Maryland

| | I have camped at this campground for several years now. While there used to be a lot of activities for the campers, this past season wasn't so! There were some activities on some of the major weekends (a very bad band for the Fourth weekend) but other than some activities for the younger kids, the teenagers are left to their own devices for entertainment. High temperatures at Roaring Point Campground through the summertime months are in the 80's; the overnight is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Roaring Point Campground drop into the 20's. swamp next to Roaring Point Campground, and unsurprisingly, everybody loves Pocomoke River State Park. At Roaring Point Campground amusing stuff to do is abundant, and camping is such a fun activity, and this is a perfect spot to do that.
Roaring Point Campground is a pretty
wet place generally with much precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest of the months is October. Some people stay here when they come to check out Mount Vernon Beach.
