The workforce of this pleasant campground and the great loads of fun activities have people coming from far and near. Mountain Farm Campground is liked by the people of Smithsburg. Maryland is a pleasant place for campers.
The great variety of local attractions and such an incredible array of things to do are good reasons to come. Many people stay at this campground for the purpose of being next to Greenbrier State Park.
If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is
 
    likely to happen. At Mountain Farm Campground entertaining stuff to do is abundant; it is a pleasant campground.
Finally, camping season is here again; Mountain Farm Campground in Maryland is exactly what you need. There's a perfect
 type II-III(V) part of whitewater close by on Middle creek, the 6.3-mile-long Wolfsville to Myersville section. This part of Middle creek is not a site where beginners should come kayak paddling. Whitewater rapids are risky phenomenons, so you must check restrictions previous to going. A tremendous spot to bowl close to Mountain Farm Campground is Sunshine Lanes & Lounge. Going for a horse ride at close by Star Equestrian Center is always a fun thing to do. Don't miss out on a tour to Catoctin Mountain Park since you're here at Mountain Farm Campground. While you're here at Mountain Farm Campground you could visit close by petting zoo Land Of Little Horses Farm Park and pet several cute animals.  
In case you feel like getting out on the water, Gettysburg Marine Center is in close proximity. Mountain Farm Campground is right by the Spiderbush Nature Trail, and if by chance you love animals a good petting zoo to stop at during your stay at Mountain Farm Campground is Summers Farm.
