Everybody needs to go camping for a couple of days now and then; Mountain Farm Campground in Maryland is such a good spot. A campground like this is too wonderful to miss. Seneca Creek State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Liberty. The kind workforce and the splendid wealth of fun activities are a delightful attraction for lots of folks. Scores of folks camp here for the |
purpose of being close to Greenbrier State Park.
Not far from Mountain Farm Campground, you'll discover Edgemont Reservoir which is a wonderful lake, and the view of wonderful Buzzard Knob is good. This is a wonderful campground. Near Mountain Farm Campground you locate the
| Spiderbush Nature Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and Hunting Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by.
Maryland has so many things to offer nature lovers. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Mountain Farm Campground is Middle creek, and if you haven’t been to Catoctin Mountain Park, you should schedule some time for it since you're here. From a rainfall point of view Mountain Farm Campground is a relatively normal spot; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January.
