Holiday Park Campground, Maryland Custom Search   Welcome to HOLIDAY PARK FAMILY CAMPGROUND We are conveniently located in the heart of the DelMarVa peninsula, where we offer you wonderful camping experiences in a family oriented setting. We have 200 picturesque acres, bordered by the headwaters of the Choptank River. Our facility offers plenty to entertain the children with a large pool, game room, tennis and basketball courts, several playgrounds, river fishing and lots of trails for biking       and hiking. We also offer a variety of planned activities on weekends. The surrounding area offers many antique shops, quaint fishing villages, miles of rich farmland, roadside produce markets and wildlife. Best of all, there is a   laid-back, relaxing way of life, which is why it's known as ''The Land of Pleasant Living. '' Go crabbing or fishing in the nearby rivers and streams, or enjoy a prepared meal in one of the many restaurants serving the best in seafoood. Also nearby you'll find public golf courses. Take a walking tour in any of several interesting historic towns in the area. Visit a wildlife refuge or take a bike ride tour along the picturesque roads. Shop the many factory outlet       stores and antique shops in the area, or spend a day at the ocean relaxing on the beach. Campfires are allowed - Must be contained in fire ring provided and attended at all times.  Must be kept small and put out completely with water by 11:30PM or when leaving site. Boating - The river is large enough for canoes or small rowboats.  There is a public boat ramp for larger boats about 3 miles away. Activities for kids - Planned activities for the family every weekend.  Two weekends the activites are just for the kids. That rate is based on 2 adults and your dependent children under 13 years. In person we accept cash, check, money order and credit cards -- MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Over the internet we accept the 3 credit cards listed above. Through the mail we accept check (must be received 30 days prior to stay) and money oder No payments accepted over the phone.
