Crow's Nest Campground, Maryland   IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have received an unconfirmed report that this campground permanently houses two convicted sex offenders. We have been unable to reach the campground to clarify this. This campground, I have stayed at numerous times.? So far I have not had any issues.? Its very quiet in the evening and the owner is very friendly.? However, when pulling into the camp ground there is what seems to be an active trailer park on the right hand side.? The best Sites are located along the stream ending near the upper pools. Says Brandon Really     good skiing awaits you at Ski Liberty, and the Sandy Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration of the summertime months at Crow's Nest Campground temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crow's Nest Campground. This campground has so unbelievably much. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Hunting Creek; there are delightful locations to look at along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail. Seneca Creek State Park is a stunning location any time of year, and Greenbrier State Park is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit. So much amusing stuff to do at Crow's Nest Campground, so little time. Do pay a visit to Catoctin Mountain Park since you're here at Crow's Nest   Campground; you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Hunting Creek Lake is one of those close by. This place rules, just look at all the fun things to do near Crow's Nest Campground. The amount of rainfall that falls at Crow's Nest Campground is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. Loads of fun is at this campground. A quick spree to High Run near Crow's Nest Campground is a great idea; a trip to Appalachian National Scenic Trail is worthwhile. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Owens Creek; don't leave Crow's Nest Campground without first going for a hike along the Spiderbush Nature Trail. The cheerful folks of Thurmont like to hang out close by, and there's splendid hiking along the Warrior Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Owens Creek, and you can go for a hike on the High Rock Nature Trail.
