There are so many amusing things near Wilde Pines Campground, and you always have a great time when you're here. While you're here at Wilde Pines Campground you will meet lots of people from nearby Monticello, and don't leave Wilde
Pines Campground without first going for a hike along the Pierce Tote Road.
There's so much to do at Wilde Pines Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so in all probability you want to stay a while. B Stream is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Wilde Pines Campground; a spree to Aroostook State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
What would winter be without some skiing at Bigrock, and you can go for a hike on the Sweets Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Wilde Pines Campground, and during the night
 
it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Wilde Pines Campground temperatures sink to the 0's.
