  'Come Listen to the Quiet''  Solitude, relaxing and peaceful are 3 words that best desribe this adult only campground (21+).  Clean restrooms and laundry, paved roads, friendly and helpful staff, and what a view over the 3000 acre Audubon Property. A canoe or kayak ride is a must! Very close to the Eastern Trail for a scenic hike of nature and wildlife.  A tranquil setting but yet close to shopping, fine dining and the beach.  Not many activities on site, but no noise either.  Also, a strong WiFi signal was nice for a change and cable TV with 70 channels
    at our level site.  Highly recommend if staying for a week, month or the season.  Plenty to do in the area.

You can run the rapids of Chandler Brook in the neighborhood of Wild Duck Campground, and time spent at Surfside Beach is always fine. Having a glorious time at Wild
Duck Campground is easy. Foxwells Bridge Brook Dam is worth checking out while you're here. At this campground you will always have a good time. Enjoy a round of golf at Willowdale Golf Club not far from Wild Duck Campground, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a glorious view of Scottow Hill from Wild Duck Campground. Here at Wild Duck Campground you'll almost certainly meet some people from Scarborough, and Phillips Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out.

nearby Cascade Brook, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Biddeford Saco Country Club is nearby. During the days of summer here at Wild Duck Campground, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Wild Duck Campground are in the 0's. This campground is so good. A great location like Crescent Beach State Park next to Wild Duck Campground is too perfect to leave out, and a day at charming Old Orchard Beach near Wild Duck Campground is a delightful thing to do.
The high level of rainfall makes Wild Duck Campground a quite wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while August is generally the driest month. All the outdoors fun things near Wild Duck Campground will keep you coming back again and again. There's whitewater on Royal River for all you thrill seekers, and Nonesuch River Golf Club is a fine golf course nearby. Lost Valley is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and a journey to Two Lights State Park is a great idea.
Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Saco River, and there are swamps here too, Scarboro Marshes is in the vicinity.
