| | We went there in September, but, it seemed like an ideal, quiet place for hikers who may want to get off the beaten track on a very commercial island. The showers were clean, the sites were clean and it was not the most expensive. Forewarned, the shuttle bus doesn't go there, price to pay for remoteness. Says Scott

If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is White Birches Motel & Golf Course, and on a pretty day you get a delightful vista of China Hill from White Birches Campground. Canada Cliff is an exciting place to take a look at while at White Birches Campground. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Bass Harbor Marsh is right nearby.
