White Birches Campground, Maine

| | We went there in September, but, it seemed like an ideal, quiet place for hikers who may want to get off the beaten track on a very commercial island. You might want to pay a visit to Great Notch if you're here at White Birches Campground; a day at Cobble Beach is time well spent. Loads of folks stay at White Birches Campground for the purpose of being near Echo Lake Beach. At last, it's time for a camping trip once more, and White Birches Campground in Maine is a really magnificent location to spend some time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Ridge Trail; the view of beautiful China Hill is brilliant. | |

Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do near White Birches Campground. You'll meet a lot of people from Southwest Harbor here; there's great hiking along the Razorback Trail. Some activities here at White Birches Campground are fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling,
so in all probability you want to stick around for a while. Heath Brook is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and do take a hike on the Beech Mountain West Ridge Trail. All the good local attractions in the vicinity and the good variety of outdoors recreation
will definitely have you coming back repeatedly. White Birches Campground is an old favorite with the folks from Southwest Harbor. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Bass Harbor Marsh is right nearby. Places like Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park are tremendous to have
a look at, and splendid hiking is available along the Cold Brook Trail. There are so many exciting things in the neighborhood of White Birches Campground, and it positively is a magnificent campground. Lamoine State Park is a brilliant spot to stretch your legs a bit; you can
run the rapids of Union River. Lots of rain falls at White Birches Campground; November is the month that gets the most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Maine is a magnificent location for outdoors people. Looking for a nice journey? Maine Acadian Culture is
