A great place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Timberland Acres RV Park     is Branch Lake Stream; Bar Harbor Golf Course is a good golf course close by. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Union River, and Lamoine Beach is a beach nearby that you can visit. Loads of fun is at this campground. The Great Long Pond Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Timberland Acres RV Park, and Haynes Point is not far at all. Blue Hill Falls is a nice whitewater spot close to Timberland Acres RV Park, and if you like swamps you're   in luck, Jones Marsh is right close by. Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park is a great spot; don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Crippens Brook. Some of the things you can do here at Timberland Acres RV Park are whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf, fishing, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. All the great local attractions around here and so many things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back repeatedly. You'll meet a lot of folks from Salsbury Cove here, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Lake Trail. This campground is a great place to visit. Going for a hike on the Beech Cliff Loop is always a wonderful adventure; Acadia National Park is a wonderful national park. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because White Birches Motel & Golf Course is around here, and there are great sites to look at along the Outer Beech Mountain Trail. At Timberland Acres RV Park through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Timberland Acres RV Park tend to be in the 0's. Be careful coming to Timberland Acres RV Park, you might not ever want to go home again. Lamoine State Park is a tremendous place to stop at, and the views at Maine Acadian Culture will blow your mind.
