This is such a fun spot for a campground. While you're here at South Inlet Campground you can take a hike along the Intake Trail, and folks from Greenville love to come here. This campground is always a delight. Going to Peaks-Kenny State Park near South Inlet Campground is a nice thing to do, and it's a splendid idea to     take a look at Beaver Creek. The folks who care for the campground and lots of amusing things to do have folks coming here. Through the summertime months at South Inlet Campground temperatures are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at South Inlet Campground plunge into the-10's. South Inlet Campground is an old favorite with the people of Greenville. Lots of people stay at South Inlet Campground in order to be close to Lily Bay State Park. If you get bored of South Inlet Campground, you could also visit close by Big Wilson Stream Reservoir, and nearby you come across the Big Spencer Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail. If you're here at South Inlet Campground, do take a spree to Beaver Cove; glide down the rapids of Big Wilson Stream in a kayak. A visit to Maine is not complete without some camping. Some of the things you can do here at South Inlet Campground are whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
