Sunday River is a good local ski area; Farrington Hill is a peak you can observe from South Arm Campground. This campground is so pretty. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if
| it's for you then we recommend Sunday River, and of course Abbott Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at. For the period of the warm months, highs usually are in the 70's at South Arm Campground; the overnight is a little colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for South Arm Campground. South Arm Campground is right by the Bemis Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Brook. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down | |

to South Arm Campground. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Old Speck Mountain Trail, and a brilliant place like Rangeley Lake State Park is too magnificent to leave out. This is truly a tremendous campground. A journey to South Arm Campground wouldn’t be complete without
a tour to nearby Grafton Notch State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around South Arm Campground; Angel Falls Trail is a wonderful local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bemis Stream Trail. South Arm Campground gets a common amount of annual rain; August
is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. And if that's not enough there's a load more exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. Take a hike on the Table Rock Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Bear offers some great whitewater. Just can't
get enough of the White Mountains. There are other spots here than South Arm Campground, for example Surplus Pond, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from East Andover for sure.
