In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sunday River, and do take a hike on the Bemis Trail. This campground is so tremendous. A tour to
| Grafton Notch State Park invigorates the soul, and the Angel Falls Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the White Mountains. South Arm Campground is not far at all from East Andover, and hiking along the Table Rock Trail is delightful fun. A common amount of rainfall falls here at South Arm Campground; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at South Arm Campground dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to South Arm Campground.
Bear is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood of South Arm Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bemis Stream Trail. This is such a tremendous campground. Rangeley Lake State Park is a tremendous spot to go if you're at South Arm Campground, and from South
Arm Campground you obtain a perfect view of Farrington Hill. That right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of South Arm Campground is Black Brook, and the skiing
at Sunday River is good. Don't forget to take a tremendous little trip to Abbott Brook; going for a hike along the Old Speck Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
