Smuggler's Den Campground, Maine

  Maine is a nice site for campers. There are so many enjoyable things to do close to Smuggler's Den Campground, and it is one of lots of nice campgrounds in this neighborhood. Smuggler's Den Campground regularly gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while August is regularly the driest month.
For the period of the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Smuggler's Den Campground with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows at Smuggler's Den Campground during the
    wintertime usually plunge into the 10's. If you're looking for a beach in the vicinity of Smuggler's Den Campground, we recommend Echo Lake Beach, and from Smuggler's Den Campground you get a fine view of Saint Sauveur Mountain.
This campground is so scenic. Take a hike on
the Old Canada Cliff Trail, and the good folks of Southwest Harbor like to hang out nearby. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blue Hill Falls; Norwood Cove Dam is a site that is close to Smuggler's Den Campground. Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park is both brilliant and lovely, and it's right next door to Smuggler's Den Campground.
If you come at the right time of year, Branch Lake Stream offers some good whitewater; while you're here, you might as well take a look at Fernald Rock. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's swimming,
 
hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen. Many people select Smuggler's Den Campground so they can go to Echo Lake Beach.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Smuggler's Den Campground; Valley Trail is a brilliant local trail, and what would a place like Smuggler's Den Campground be without interesting nearby marks like Canada Cliff. This campground is a delightful site to stop at. Lamoine State Park is a great location to go to on a gorgeous day, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Seawall Pond.
Good hiking is available along the Flying Mountain Trail; Maine Acadian Culture is a very magnificent location to explore. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Smuggler's Den Campground. While you're here at Smuggler's Den Campground you should check out Norwood Cove, and no need to travel far to have a look at interesting stuff like Beach Cliff. Coming to this campground is always a delightful idea. Get wet paddling on Union River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Valley Peak Trail.
The people who watch over the campground and the loveliness of the site have scores of folks coming here. There's some flowing water nearby, Man of War Brook is a stream you can explore while here, and there's good hiking along the Saint Saveur Mountain Trail.
The nice local attractions and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back time and again.
