This is in fact a fine campground. Nearby lakes? Sure, Silver Lake is close to Ocean View Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Jack Rock, and the top of Sabino Hill is easily seen from Ocean View Park.
You've gotta get out; Ocean View Park, Maine is a glorious location for getting out.

You definitely have to explore Popham Beach State Park since you're here at Ocean View Park, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Sheepscot River. Ocean View Park is near Reid State Park which is a picturesque spot; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from
| close by Phippsburg. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cathance River; don't forget to visit Sabino Head while you're here.
If you want to hit the beach, Hunnewell Beach is in the vicinity; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Damariscotta River. Ocean View Park is a campground rather often visited by the people of Phippsburg.

A large amount of rainfall falls at Ocean View Park; November is when you get the most rain here while July is usually the driest month. Summertime highs at Ocean View Park ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and during the night
it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Ocean View Park temperatures sink to the 10's.
