Northport Travel Park, Maine

  When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Northport Travel Park, Maine is a tremendous place for getting out. A swamp like Herricks Bog right next door to Northport Travel Park has lots of attention-grabbing things to see, and there's some flowing water close by, Ducktrap River is a stream you can stop at while here. Beech Hill is a peak you can spot from Northport Travel Park, and this is a popular location for people from Belfast. Goose River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and tremendous hiking is available along
    the Mount Megunticook Trail.
The staff of this tremendous campground and the nicely taken care of facilities have folks coming from all over. Northport Travel Park is positioned in a neighborhood with a lot of entertaining stuff to do; spending time at this campground is very
fun.
Paddling on Marsh Stream is so much fun, and a visit to Camden Hills State Park revives the soul. Northport Travel Park is a very popular old favorite campground among residents of Belfast. High temperatures at Northport Travel Park through the summertime months are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Northport Travel Park temperatures fall to the 10's.
Northport Travel Park generally gets a good deal of
 
precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back persistently.
This is such a great campground. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ducktrap River, and the Ragged Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Head up to Camden and strap some skis to your feet, and a lake close by is Knight Pond.
Some of the things you can do here at Northport Travel Park are whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Northport Travel Park. There's wonderful hiking along the Mount Battie Trail, and a good beach close by is Cals Beach. This is such a beautiful campground. Moose Point State Park is a glorious location to go if you're at Northport Travel Park, and don't leave Northport Travel Park without first going for a hike along the Spring Brook Trail.
Lots of folks stay here in order to be close to Pebble Beach.
Maine has a lot of outdoors activities. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Northport Travel Park. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Northport Golf Club, and Pebble Beach is a beach nearby that you can go to.
