If you're looking for a beach next to Northport Travel Park, we recommend Pebble Beach, and Camden Hills State Park is a good place. All through the months of summer highs here at Northport Travel Park get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Northport Travel Park dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This campground is so great. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ducktrap River; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Cals Beach.
Maine is a perfect outdoors state. Northport Travel Park sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. Some activities here at Northport Travel Park are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored.
Going for a hike on the Mount Battie Trail is always a great adventure, and Knight Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Camden is a very popular ski area nearby, and close by you hit upon the Mount Megunticook Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
A lot of people pick this campground so they can go to Cals Beach.
