Not far from Mountain View Campground you discover Waukeag Neck, and at Mountain View Campground you always meet someone from Sorrento. Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. Good hiking is available along the Kebo Mountain Trail; why not pop by Long Pond Dam if you're here.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hemlock Trail, and Mountain View Campground is not the only spot close by, Donnell Pond is a close by lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain View Campground a wet location; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while August is usually the driest month.
