  Maine is a good spot for outdoors people. All year is a great time in the White Mountains if you love the outdoors. Paddling on Swift River is so much fun, and lots of folks from Dixfield come here. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. Staples Brook flows through this neighborhood; there's magnificent hiking along the Chimney Trail.
Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Black Mountain, and don't leave Mountain View Campground without first going for a hike along the Brook Trail. This campground has everything. Near Mountain
    View Campground you locate a golf course called Oakdale Country Club, and a spree to Rangeley Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Lots of folks stay at this campground to check out close by Mt. Blue State Park.
Some of the things you can do here at Mountain
View Campground are whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Mountain View Campground has it all. Don't leave Mountain View Campground without first checking out Bull Rock, and popping by Mt. Blue State Park is a tremendous thing to do. Quite a lot of entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Mountain View Campground, and if you're trying to find a good spot to go camping for a couple of days, this is a magnificent choice.
 
Mountain View Campground is an old favorite with the folks of Dixfield. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and the pleasant variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently. Soar down the rapids of Nezinscot River - West Branch in a kayak; Sugarloaf is clearly visible from Mountain View Campground.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the White Mountains. The Piazza Rock Trail offers hiking at its best; whitewater paddling is good on Bowley Brook. The caring people working here and the magnificent quality of everything here have folks coming from near and far.

From a precipitation point of view Mountain View Campground is a quite normal site; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Mountain View Campground highs are commonly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Mountain View Campground.
