Golf can be played at Wilson Lake Country Club, and Range Ponds State Park is a glorious place to stretch your legs a bit. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy     River, and Maine Rovers is in the vicinity of Mt. Blue State Park which is a scenic site. This campground is so magnificent. Maine Rovers is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; a scenic lake like Wilson Pond is a glorious site to check out. Not far from Maine Rovers you get some magnificent water scenery at Wilson Pond Dam, and Temple Stream is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Stony Brook flows through this neighborhood, and you can hit the slopes at Titcomb in close proximity. Maine Rovers frequently gets lots of precipitation; throughout November this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. Throughout the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Maine Rovers, and the overnight is quite chillier   of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Maine Rovers dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
