Through the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Maine Mountain. This campground is so pretty. Sebago Lake State Park is a great location, and one of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Maine Mountain is Ossipee Hill. | rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is September. The fine folks who operate this place and the incredibly well run facilities attract people from all over. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Little Ossipee River, and the skiing at Shawnee Peak is delightful. Some activities here at Maine Mountain are relaxing, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay a bit. Everybody loves Vaughan Woods Memorial State Park, and folks from North Waterboro love to come here.
