I'm a retired neighbor (the Caretaker's Cottage from the old Cold Spring Ranch, which owned all this property) and the owners are ''no longer in declinging healther'' -- Kate Reed Passed, sadly, several years ago, and Clarance left us last fall.

Now,

The kids (Large farm family) have it all left to them ... And the only one left there (here) is Dave, who stayed to run the family Dairy Farm. They're all (the kids) thinking of reopening/running the campground............ So, give 'em a call. They are letting anybody that wants use the boat launch, and they've cleaned up 30 or 40 camp sites.

It's a great pond with lots of fish (Trout, Bass and Pickerel (sp?) and just
 
    a beautiful out-in-the woods location.

I like thes guys, which is why I'm leaving this post. And, I like nice ''camp sites'' which is why I'm (also) leaving this post. I'm serious.... This is a really nice spot, and these are

Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do close to Gilman Pond Campground, and to be here is pleasant fun any time. We all need to go camping for a couple of days occasionally, and Gilman Pond Campground in Maine is a pleasant pick.
