If you want to hit the beach, Mothers Beach is close by; lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Grist Mill Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Saco River, and on a delightful day it's a great idea to spend the day at Middle Beach. Summer at Fran-mort Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, typically in the 50's.
